Hey everyone! My team is deciding between partnering with anIT staff augmentation company or outsourcing an entire project to a development agency.

Staff augmentation seems to provide more control and flexibility, but will it require more management effort on our end? On the other hand, outsourcing seems hands-off but might not allow for as much customization.

For those who’ve worked with staff augmentation companies, what were the advantages? Did the integration process with your team go smoothly?

I’d appreciate any insights or recommendations on when to choose augmentation over full outsourcing and vice versa.
